5 - Kidney, Wilms tumor (nephroblastoma) - Gross, cut surface  
The tumor involves both the upper and lower poles of the kidney. The tumor is well circumscribed and firm. Histologically, Wilms tumors may recapitulate different stages of nephrogenesis. They contain blastemal, stromal, and epithelial cells. The epithelial differentiation shown here forms rosettes or tubules.
